Banking services provided by Reserve Trust — a Colorado chartered trust company

Reserve Trust is regulated by the Colorado Division of Banking and authorized to exercise the powers of a national bank under US Federal Law. Client escrow deposits are received, maintained, and backed with the full faith and credit of the United States. MITB is the technology platform; Reserve Trust is the regulated banking counterpart.

Overview

One platform. Two portals. End-to-end wire operations.

MITB is a FinTech Infrastructure Platform that enables global Financial Institutions, FinTechs, and Corporations to execute seamless payments and banking services for themselves and their clients. MITB acts as a middleware, payments, technology, and card provider — partnering with banks as a business development partner for licensed financial institutions and corporate partners worldwide.

The platform is structured around two purpose-built interfaces. The User Portal — available on web and native mobile app — is designed for corporate clients: clean, guided, and intuitive. Clients initiate wires, manage multi-currency accounts, issue cards, and track status in real time. The Admin Portal is the operations and compliance command center: document review through SanctionScanner, mandatory approval workflows, MT103 and MT940 SWIFT file generation, and portfolio-level dashboards. Both portals share live state and are secured by two independent layers of two-factor authentication.

Wire transfers are executed through multiple integrated rails — PrimeTrust and Fincra for wire processing, with Reserve Trust as the core banking partner. Platform services span US$ Direct Accounts (funds held at the Fed), Euro/GBP SEPA IBANs, Bulk Payments, and Rich APIs for full third-party integration.

The platform supports full multi-domain white-labelling — the same MITB infrastructure powers Savvy and Bancr under their own brand domains with independent registration, branding, and configuration.

Platform Services

Banking infrastructure. Multi-currency. APIs. Bulk Payments.

MITB delivers a full suite of corporate banking services — not just wire transfers. Named US$ accounts backed by the Fed, Euro/GBP IBANs, bulk payments, and rich APIs for deep integration.

US$ Accounts

US$ Direct Accounts

  • Named direct US Dollar bank accounts — funds held at the Federal Reserve
  • Clients can receive and send US Dollar wires via their dedicated account number
  • Account balance and available balance tracked separately in real time
  • Multiple accounts per client supported — each with its own wire transfer action buttons (Dom, Int'l, Incoming)
  • Account statements generated monthly and available on demand
SEPA Accounts

Euro / GBP Accounts (SEPA IBANs)

  • Named IBANs denominated in Euro and GBP — via financial institution partners
  • Enables European payment corridors and SEPA payment rails for clients
  • Eliminates the need for a separate European banking relationship
  • IBANs fully integrated with the MITB platform — balances and transactions tracked alongside USD accounts
Bulk Payments

Bulk Payment Processing

  • Platform manages bulk payments for clients making repetitive or large batches of payments
  • Batch upload replaces individual wire submission for high-volume payment workflows
  • Each payment in a batch passes through the same approval, compliance, and audit controls as individual wires
  • Bulk payment reports available for reconciliation and client reporting
APIs

Rich API Integration Layer

  • Full RESTful API surface documented via Swagger/OpenAPI — available for third-party integration
  • API covers transactions, account management, reports, and reconciliation
  • Enables partners, operators, and white-label deployments to integrate MITB capabilities into their own platforms
  • Separate API credentials per environment — live and QA isolated
  • Webhook support for real-time event notification to external systems
Multi Currency

Multi-Currency Account Management

  • Clients hold and manage accounts across multiple currencies within a single login
  • Balances displayed per currency with real-time updates
  • Multi-currency wire transfers with integrated exchange rate calculation
  • Wire type selector on each account: USD wires, Global (international) wires — per currency rail
Global Payments

Global Payments Network

  • MITB offers global customers access to corporate banking services — payments to banks worldwide
  • Partners with financial institutions and provides the technology to enable seamless cross-border transactions
  • Global wire support via Fincra for emerging market corridors and PrimeTrust for mainstream international rails
  • USD and Multi Currency accounts enabling both domestic and global payment flows from a single platform
User Portal & Mobile App

What every corporate client sees — web and mobile

A clean sidebar-driven web interface and a native mobile app give clients full access to the platform — from initiating a wire to managing payees and uploading KYC documents — on any device, without complexity.

Dashboard

Live Transfer Dashboard

  • Status, amounts, currencies, and timestamps at a glance
  • Quick-access pending action indicators
Transaction History

Full Transaction History

  • Searchable and filterable record of all wires

  • PDF account statement download
Wire Center — Type 1

Domestic Wire Transfers

  • Initiate US domestic wire transfers with ABA routing number validation
  • Attach invoices and supporting documentation to each request
  • Real-time tracking from submission through admin approval to Wire Sent
  • Notification sent to the submitting user, admin team, and all associated persons on every status change
Wire Center — Type 2

International Wire Transfers

  • SWIFT/BIC, IBAN, and intermediary (correspondent) bank support
  • Multi-currency with integrated exchange rate calculation
  • Attach invoices, contracts, and regulatory documents per transfer
  • MT103 payment instruction generated on approval; MT940 bank statement on execution
  • All associated persons notified at every lifecycle stage
Wire Center — Type 3

ACH Transfers

  • ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers for cost-effective US bank-to-bank payments
  • Lower-cost alternative to domestic wire for non-urgent transfers
  • Same approval workflow as wire transfers — queued, reviewed, and approved before execution
  • Full notification chain: submitting user, admin, and all associated account persons notified on every event
  • ACH transaction history tracked alongside domestic and international wires in a unified ledger
Incoming Wire

Incoming Wire Pre-Notification

  • Clients pre-notify the platform of expected incoming funds before they arrive — Expected Date, Expected Amount, Account Number, Wire Type (USD or Global), and Reason for Payment
  • UBO(s) of the sending entity declared upfront — required for compliance before any funds are credited
  • Supporting backup documentation uploaded with the pre-notification (invoices, contracts, source-of-funds evidence)
  • All incoming wire funds go through admin verification before being credited to the client's account — no automatic pass-through
  • Admin reviews the pre-notification, attached documents, and compliance data; releases funds only after clearance
  • Full audit trail from notification submission through release — every step attributed and timestamped
Payee

Payee Management

  • Separate payee types for Domestic (USA) and International wires — each with purpose-built field sets
  • Reuse saved payees across multiple wire transfers — no re-entry of bank details
  • Auto-template: when a wire is submitted with "Save as Template" enabled, the payee is created automatically if not already on file
  • Duplicate detection on routing + account (domestic) or SWIFT + account (international) — prevents redundant records
  • Full CRUD: Add, Edit, Delete with confirmation dialog; sortable and paginated payee list
  • Granular RBAC permissions: PAYEE_LIST, ADD / UPDATE / DELETE per payee type
Document Center

Document Center

  • Central repository for all company documents
  • KYC uploads linked to specific contacts within the company
  • Tags: Document Type, Issuing Country, Document Name
  • Status tracking: Pending, Reviewed, Approved, Flagged
My Companies

Multi-Company Management

  • Manage multiple entity accounts under one login
  • Switch between companies without re-authenticating
  • Ideal for holding companies, group structures, agents
Account Users

User & Role Management

  • Invite team members with granular role assignments
  • Control who can initiate, approve, or view transfers
  • Deactivate users when team membership changes
Payee Management

Save once. Reuse forever. Zero re-entry for repeat transfers.

MITB maintains a full payee directory — separate schemas for domestic and international — with validated bank details, intermediary bank support, auto-template creation, and RBAC-controlled access. Every field is validated at entry time so wire submissions are never rejected for bad routing or SWIFT data.

Domestic & International

Two Payee Schemas — One Directory

  • Domestic (USA Wire): Business name, 9-digit ABA routing number (live-validated, auto-fills bank name), account number, address, state, country, optional beneficiary info
  • International (SWIFT/IBAN): Business name, SWIFT/BIC code (validated), optional IBAN, account number, financial institution name, recipient and account country, address lines
  • Duplicate guard on both types — routing + account (domestic) or SWIFT + account (international) checked before save
  • SWIFT-safe validation: colon and non-Latin characters blocked on all name and address fields
Intermediary Bank & Operations

Correspondent Bank + Smart Defaults

  • Optional intermediary / correspondent bank section on every international payee — SWIFT or ABA routing type, name, code, account, reference, full address
  • US zip code auto-fills city and state; routing number lookup returns bank name on match
  • Auto-template: saving a wire with "Save as Template" creates the payee automatically — no separate step
  • Full CRUD with confirmation dialogs; sortable, paginated payee list; granular RBAC permissions per payee type

Wire Submission & Documentation Controls

No documentation. No wire. Every submission is a compliance event.

Every wire request — domestic, international, or ACH — requires backup documentation before admin review can begin. Invoices, contracts, and source-of-funds evidence are attached at submission time. Wires missing adequate documentation are returned to the client with written Return Notes. This is the platform's primary control against illicit fund flows.

Create Template with Wire
Agreement
By submitting this wire, I do hereby attest that per Section 14 from the Custodian/Escrow Deposit Agreement, the funds being transferred out are escrow funds for a special or specific purpose. I unconditionally authorize The Reserve Trust Company to execute this payment order and debit my account in the stated amount.
Documentation Control

Mandatory Backup Documentation — Every Wire

  • Every domestic wire, international wire, and ACH request requires backup documentation at submission time — invoices, contracts, purchase orders, source-of-funds evidence
  • Multiple files can be attached per wire — no limit on document count
  • Uploaded files are listed with filename and individual delete control
  • Admin reviews every attached document in the approval workflow before any wire can proceed
  • Wires submitted without adequate documentation are returned — they cannot be silently approved with missing docs
  • This is the platform's primary AML control: proof of purpose is required at the transaction level, not just at onboarding
Return Notes

Admin Return Notes — Written Reason for Every Return

  • When a wire is returned, the admin must provide written Return Notes explaining exactly what is missing or incorrect
  • Return Notes are displayed to the client on the wire submission form — they can correct and resubmit
  • Common return reasons: missing intermediary bank details, insufficient documentation, mismatched beneficiary information, sanctions flag requiring clarification
  • Return is a formal workflow state — not a rejection. The wire is paused, corrected, and resubmitted through the same approval queue
  • Every return event is logged in the audit trail with the admin, timestamp, and notes text
Agreement Attestation

Reserve Trust Escrow Agreement — Client Attestation

  • Every wire submission includes a mandatory legal attestation: the client confirms the funds are escrow funds for a specific purpose under Section 14 of the Reserve Trust Custodian/Escrow Deposit Agreement
  • The client unconditionally authorizes Reserve Trust Company to execute the payment and debit their account
  • Attestation is not a checkbox afterthought — it is embedded in the submission form and must be completed before the wire can be submitted
  • Creates a legally binding transaction record per wire with documented client intent
Beneficiary & Intermediary

Beneficiary Information & Intermediary Bank

  • Beneficiary Information — free-text field ("For the further benefit of") for detailed beneficiary declaration, payment purpose, and intermediary bank instructions
  • Intermediary bank can be specified inline (bank name, SWIFT code) — or linked from the payee's saved intermediary bank record
  • Admin Return Notes frequently cite missing intermediary bank details as the return reason — the form makes it explicit that this data must be present
  • Create Template with Wire checkbox — if checked, the payee is automatically saved to the payee directory on successful wire submission, ready for future reuse
Incoming Wire

Incoming funds — pre-notify, verify, then release

Clients inform MITB of expected incoming wires before the funds arrive. Admin verifies the notification, UBO declarations, and backup documentation before crediting the account. No incoming wire bypasses review.

Verification Before Release
All incoming wire funds undergo admin review. Funds are not automatically credited — admin must verify the pre-notification, UBO declarations, and documentation before releasing to the client account.
Compliance

Why Incoming Wires Are Gated

  • AML/BSA obligation — the source and beneficial owner of inbound funds must be identified before acceptance
  • UBO(s) of the sending entity declared by the client at notification time — verified against SanctionScanner before release
  • Pre-notification data — Expected Date, Amount, Wire Type (USD/Global), Reason for Payment — creates an audit record before the wire arrives
  • Mismatch between notified and received amount flagged for admin review
Workflow

Incoming Wire Lifecycle

  • Client submits pre-notification with expected details and backup documentation
  • Admin receives notification and reviews: UBO declarations, documentation, SanctionScanner result
  • Wire arrives at Reserve Trust — held pending admin clearance
  • Admin marks Documents OK and Scan OK — releases funds to client account
  • Full audit trail from pre-notification through release — every step logged with actor and timestamp
  • Client and all associated persons notified by email + SMS at each stage
KYC Document Management

Contact-level precision — not a document dump

KYC documents are linked to specific individuals within a company. Every document is tagged by type, issuing country, and contact — producing an auditable KYC package per person that satisfies rigorous regulatory examination.

What gets collected per document

Why contact-level matters

  • Each beneficial owner, compliance officer, and controller gets their own KYC file
  • Regulators can examine any individual's documentation independently
  • Document status tracked per person, not per company
  • Timestamps and reviewer attribution on every entry
Admin Portal

Operations & compliance — the command center

The Admin Portal is where your operations team reviews documents, approves transfers, generates MT103 files, and manages the entire client portfolio. Every action is logged, timestamped, and attributed.

Admin Portal — Key Capabilities
SanctionScanner — Document & KYC Verification
SanctionScanner Integration
  • MITB integrates SanctionScanner — a dedicated third-party compliance service — for all document verification and KYC screening
  • Every document submitted with a transfer or KYC application is routed through SanctionScanner before any approval is possible
  • Screens against global sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media sources
  • Document states: Pending → Reviewed → Cleared / Flagged — tracked per document with timestamps
  • No transfer proceeds past In Review without SanctionScanner clearance
Document Review Interface
  • Every invoice and KYC attachment accessible to the operations team alongside SanctionScanner results
  • Annotate, flag, request clarification, or clear per document
  • Full decision trail recorded against each transaction and KYC application
Admin Portal — Key Capabilities
Approval, MT103 & MT940 Generation
Mandatory Approval Workflow
  • Every domestic and international wire queues for admin approval — no bypass
  • Approve → proceeds to SWIFT file generation
  • Reject → documented reason, client notified by email + SMS immediately
  • Request Additional Info → pauses transfer, prompts client
MT103 & MT940 SWIFT File Generation
  • MT103 — payment instruction file generated on approval; admin explicitly triggers it with human sign-off required
  • MT940 — bank statement format generated for wire transfer records and transmitted to correspondent banking channels
  • Both formats built from verified transaction data — no manual re-entry
  • Files retained for audit, regulatory submission, and reconciliation
Bank Email Parsing Service
  • Automated service that parses transaction notification emails sent by the bank for every wire event
  • Extracts transaction details, status updates, and confirmation references from bank emails
  • Reconciles parsed data against internal transaction records automatically
  • Eliminates manual email monitoring — bank notifications flow directly into the platform

Each company account can have multiple Agents — named sub-accounts each with individual credentials, their own account number, and live balance. Agents are approved by admin and operate under The Reserve Trust Company banking relationship.

Account Hierarchy Model

Company → Agent sub-accounts. One parent. Full responsibility.

A company opens a master account on the platform. Once approved, the company can add multiple Agent sub-accounts beneath it. Each Agent receives their own dedicated account number and balance — but they operate entirely under the umbrella of the parent company. The parent company assumes full legal and compliance responsibility for every agent and every transaction those agents initiate.

↑ All agent transactions, balances, and compliance events roll up to the parent company record
Parent Company Responsibility

Company is the compliance anchor

  • The parent company's KYC approval covers all agent sub-accounts beneath it — agents operate under the company's verified identity
  • The company's Reserve Trust Escrow Agreement and AML representations extend to all agents they add
  • If an agent sub-account is flagged for suspicious activity, the investigation traces back to the parent company record
  • Company administrators are responsible for the legitimacy of every agent they onboard — bad actors added as agents are the company's legal liability
  • Admin can suspend or deactivate any agent sub-account without affecting the parent company or sibling agents
Agent Sub-Account Structure

Independent account. Shared umbrella.

  • Each agent receives a dedicated account number — separate from the parent company's account, separate from sibling agents
  • Agent's own balance — funds held in the agent's account are tracked independently; not pooled with the parent
  • Agent has their own login credentials, email, phone, and title — operates the portal as an independent user
  • Wires submitted by an agent are attributed to that agent's account — Submitted By and From Account both reflect the agent, not the company
  • Admin sees all agents under a company in one view — the Users tab on the company account dashboard
Fraud Control via Hierarchy

Responsibility flows up — so do limits

  • Transaction limits and velocity controls are configurable at the agent account level, providing granular per-sub-account risk management
  • All agent transactions visible in the parent company's Admin Portal view — no agent can transact in isolation from company oversight
  • Sanctions screening (SanctionScanner / OFAC) runs on every transaction regardless of whether it originates from the parent or an agent sub-account
  • Admin Return Notes are written against the specific agent account that submitted the deficient wire — return reason and recovery tracked per agent
  • Full audit log per agent account — all agent actions attributable and immutable
Admin Oversight

Total visibility across the hierarchy

  • All Companies view — aggregate portfolio dashboard; each row is a parent company with total balance across all its agents
  • Individual Company dashboard — drill into any company; see all transactions across all agents in one ledger; filter by agent via the Users tab
  • Agent List view — flat list of every agent across all companies; searchable by business name, email, account number, balance, or status
  • Admin can add a new agent to any company directly from the Agent List — ADD NEW AGENT workflow mirrors the company onboarding approval chain
  • Agent status managed independently — Approved, Suspended, Pending — without affecting parent company wire access

  • Admin Users section for managing admin team roles and access
Fee Management & Statements

Hierarchical fee engine. Automated monthly statements.

Every transfer on the MITB platform has a fee calculated automatically at execution time. Fees are not flat — they are configurable at multiple hierarchy levels, giving operators precise control over pricing per client, product, or tier.

Fee Calculation Engine

Hierarchical Fee Configuration

  • Fees are automatically calculated for every domestic and international wire transfer
  • Fee rules are defined at hierarchy levels — operator level, company level, and account level — with lower levels overriding higher ones
  • Supports fixed fees, percentage-based fees, and tiered fee structures per transfer type
  • Separate fee schedules for domestic wire, international wire, ACH, and digital asset transfers
  • Fee preview shown to clients before transfer submission — no hidden charges
  • Fee audit trail: every calculated fee is recorded against the transaction for reconciliation
Monthly Statements

Automated Statement Generation

  • Monthly account statements generated automatically for all account holders
  • Statement covers all transactions for the period: domestic wires, international wires, incoming funds, fees charged, and opening/closing balances
  • Generated in PDF format (Aspose.PDF) and available for download in the Document Center
  • MT940 format statements produced for banking channel compatibility and correspondent bank reconciliation
  • Statements accessible to both the account holder (User Portal) and the operations team (Admin Portal)
  • Historical statements retained for the full account lifetime — available on demand for audit and regulatory review
Bank Email Parsing

Automated Bank Notification Processing

  • Dedicated service monitors and parses transaction notification emails sent by the bank for every wire event
  • Automatically extracts: transaction reference, amount, currency, value date, and status from bank emails
  • Parsed data is reconciled against internal MITB transaction records without manual intervention
  • Discrepancies between bank notifications and internal records are surfaced to the admin team for review
  • Eliminates manual email monitoring — bank confirmations flow directly into the platform workflow
Commission Engine

Commission Calculation

  • Automatic commission calculation for referrers, agents, and channel partners on every completed transaction
  • Commission rules defined at hierarchy level — aligned with the same fee hierarchy (operator, company, account)
  • Supports percentage-based and fixed-amount commission structures per partner or referrer
  • Commission accrues per transaction and is tracked against the referring agent or partner record
  • Referrer and agent commission reports available in the Admin Portal — filterable by period, partner, and transaction volume
  • Commission audit trail: every calculated commission is recorded against the transaction with the rate applied and the payee
  • Separates commission payable from platform fees — clear split between what MITB retains and what flows to partners
Role-Based Access Control

Fully configurable roles. Granular permissions. Per portal.

Every user on the MITB platform operates within a defined role. Roles are created by administrators with a custom name, description, and a precise permission set assembled from dozens of individual checkboxes — grouped by functional category. Critically, each role is scoped to either the Customer Portal or the Admin Portal — preventing any cross-portal privilege bleed.

Roles are created with a Role Name and Description — for example, Admin Onboarding Agent: Agent who will verify onboarding documents. Each role is scoped exclusively to either the Customer Portal or the Admin Portal, eliminating any cross-portal privilege bleed. Permissions are assembled from a catalogue of 192 individual checkboxes across 12 functional categories — Account, Admin User, Bank Account, Company, MT103/Settlement, RT Pending, Transactions, Reporting, Entities, Lookups, and more. A Select All option enables rapid full-access role creation; surgical checkbox assignment supports the narrowest possible privilege scope. Roles are assigned to admin users via Assign Admin Role and to company users via Assign User Role, with full Create / Update / Delete lifecycle managed under dedicated permissions.

Role Design

Fully Custom Role Creation

  • Roles are created with a Role Name and Description — e.g. "Admin Onboarding Agent: Agent who will verify onboarding documents"
  • Each role is scoped to either Customer Portal or Admin Portal — a role defined for the Admin Portal cannot grant access to the Customer Portal and vice versa
  • "Select All" for rapid full-access role creation; individual checkboxes for surgical permission assignment
  • Roles are assigned to admin users via Assign Admin Role and to company users via Assign User Role permissions
  • Full role CRUD: create, update, delete — with Delete Roles permission required to remove existing roles
192 Permissions — 12 Categories

Full Permission Catalogue

  • Account — Add Company, Convert To Agent/Normal, Deactivate, Download Detailed/Summary Reports, View Accounts
  • Admin User — Add/Edit/Block, Assign Roles, Delete Roles, Enable/Delete Email Alerts, Reset Password
  • Bank Account — Activate/Deactivate, Add/Edit, Upload Instructions, View List & Instructions
  • MT103 / Settlement — GENERATE_MT103, REVERT_MT103, APPROVE_MT103, RELEASE_FUND, UPLOAD_MT103_TO_RT, DOWNLOAD_MT103, DISCARD_MT103
  • RT Pending — VIEW_RT_PENDING_LIST, APPLY_RT_TRANSACTION, ADD_RT_PENDING_COMMENT, DELETE_RT_PENDING
  • Transactions — Approve, Decline, Refund, Return, Edit, Download History; Reporting — View/Download Reports; Entities — View/Download; Lookups — Configure Risk Score, Edit/Delete Country
Enforcement

Dual-Layer Enforcement — API + Angular

  • Server-side: Every API endpoint decorated with [HasPermission(Permission.X)] C# attribute — request rejected with 403 if claim absent; OR logic for multi-permission gates
  • Client-side: *hasPermission="'ADD_ROLE'" Angular structural directive — DOM element removed entirely if permission absent (not just disabled)
  • Navigation filtering: Admin Portal menu items carry a permissions[] array — NavigationService strips menu items the user has no permission to see before they render
  • Permission dependency resolution — stored procedure AUTHORIZATION_GET_DEPENDENT_PERMISSION ensures dependent permissions are co-assigned correctly
  • Single and array permission checks: hasPermission(['P1','P2']) — OR logic; either permission grants access
Responsive — 13 Breakpoints

Fully Responsive — 5-Tier Breakpoint System

  • Angular Material Flex Layout with 13 named breakpoints: xs (<600px), sm (600–959px), md (960–1279px), lg (1280–1919px), xl (>1920px) — plus lt-/gt- variants
  • fxFlex="50" fxFlex.sm="100" — columns stack to full-width on mobile; fxLayout.gt-xs="row" — row layout on tablet and above
  • Bootstrap 4 grid (col-md-*, col-sm-*) used in User Portal and Savvy white-label for wire forms and lists
  • Native React Native mobile app delivers the full User Portal on iOS and Android — not a mobile web wrapper
  • Sidebar navigation collapses to hamburger menu on small viewports; tables scroll within overflow containers
WCAG 2.1

WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Compliance

  • 569 ARIA attribute instances across both portals — aria-label on all buttons and interactive elements, aria-hidden="true" on decorative icons, aria-expanded / aria-controls on expandable panels
  • role="alert" on all Bootstrap validation messages and error states; role="dialog" on all modal overlays; role="main" on primary content regions
  • Dynamic alt text on user avatars and contact images — e.g. alt="{{contact.name}}"; decorative logo images use alt="" intentionally
  • Angular Material components (Admin Portal) provide built-in ARIA roles, focus trap in dialogs, keyboard navigation for all interactive controls
  • All form labels associated with inputs; focus states visible on all controls; color contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA ratios throughout both portals
Risk Controls

Transaction limits, velocity controls, duplicate detection, and FX rate transparency.

Beyond KYC and sanctions screening, MITB enforces configurable per-account transaction limits, detects duplicate submissions, and presents locked exchange rates before international wire confirmation — giving both operators and regulators full confidence in every transfer that leaves the platform.

Transaction Limits & Velocity Controls

Per-Account Configurable Limits

  • Single-transaction maximum enforced per wire type — Domestic Wire, International Wire, ACH
  • Daily cumulative limits configurable per account — system blocks submission if threshold is reached
  • Limits set hierarchically at operator level, company level, and individual account level — lower levels override higher
  • Admin can adjust limits in real time without system downtime
  • Velocity breaches surface as validation errors at submission time — client is informed before review begins
  • All limit configuration changes are audit-logged with admin actor and timestamp
Duplicate Transaction Detection

Automatic Same-Wire Guard

  • Every wire submission checked against recent transactions for the same account
  • Duplicate signals on: same beneficiary + same amount + same currency within a configurable time window
  • Client receives a clear warning before the duplicate proceeds — requires explicit confirmation to override
  • Prevents accidental double-payment from browser refresh, network retry, or human error
  • Duplicate override events are audit-logged with the submitting user's explicit acknowledgment
FX Rate Presentation

Locked Rate Before Confirmation

  • For international wire transfers, the exchange rate is displayed to the client before submission — client sees exactly how much the recipient receives in destination currency
  • Rate is locked at the time of admin approval, not at submission — rate displayed is indicative at entry; final rate confirmed at execution
  • Currency pair, indicative rate, and estimated recipient amount shown on the wire form summary step
  • FX-related fields on the wire: Amount, Currency, Beneficiary Amount, Exchange Rate — all recorded on the transaction record
  • Rate transparency protects clients from settlement surprises and reduces post-transfer disputes
Wire Return & Reversal Handling

Returned Wire Recovery Flow

  • When a sent wire is returned by the receiving bank (e.g. invalid account, closed account, AML hold), funds are credited back to the originating account
  • Return event triggers dual-channel notification — submitting user + admin team alerted via email and SMS
  • Admin logs a Return Note explaining the reason — written reason required before return is processed
  • Transaction status transitions to Returned — full audit trail preserved including original approval chain
  • Client can correct beneficiary details and resubmit — resubmission treated as a new wire with full documentation review
  • Returned funds immediately reflected in Available balance — no processing delay
Wire Cut-off Times & Settlement Windows

Fedwire & SWIFT Timing Awareness

  • Fedwire closes at 6:00 PM ET — domestic wires submitted after cut-off are queued for next business day execution
  • SWIFT international transfers follow correspondent bank settlement windows — typically T+1 to T+2 depending on corridor
  • Admin review queue operates during business hours; wires approved before cut-off execute same day
  • Near-cutoff submissions flagged in the admin queue — reviewers can prioritize accordingly
  • Clients see estimated execution date on the wire summary before submission
Account Funding

How Funds Enter the Platform

  • Clients fund their MITB accounts via incoming wire transfers — domestic or international
  • Incoming wires follow the pre-notification flow: client submits expected amount, date, sending entity UBO, and reason for payment before funds arrive
  • All incoming funds held in the RT Pending queue — released to client Available balance only after admin verification
  • Internal transfers between MITB accounts (same platform) are available for fund movement between accounts or agents
  • PrimeTrust custodial accounts maintain segregated balances — Total Balance vs Available Balance tracked separately
  • No ACH pull / debit card top-up — all funding is via verified wire, maintaining full audit chain from day one
Regulatory Reporting — CTR & SAR

AML Filing Obligations

  • Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) — transactions exceeding $10,000 flagged for FinCEN reporting obligations; admin team alerted for filing
  • Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) — unusual patterns (velocity, beneficiary risk, structuring) escalated internally for SAR determination by compliance team
  • SanctionScanner risk scores feed directly into SAR decision workflow — high-risk scores trigger mandatory review flags
  • All CTR/SAR-relevant records retained with full documentation trail — transaction detail, KYC files, audit log, and correspondence
  • Reserve Trust banking relationship operates under a compliant BSA/AML program — MITB's controls align with Trust's regulatory obligations
API Sandbox & Developer Integration

White-Label Partner Onboarding

  • Separate QA / sandbox environment — partners and white-label operators can integrate and test without touching production data
  • Independent credentials per environment: PrimeTrust QA bank code, Twilio test credentials, SendGrid sandbox — all isolated
  • Same API surface as production — endpoint parity ensures integration built in sandbox works identically in production
  • ASP.NET Web API 5.2.7 RESTful interface — partners consume the same API the MITB portals use; no separate partner API layer
  • Multi-domain configuration per deployment — partners receive their own domain, brand config, and credential set without code changes
Wire Templates

Save Once, Reuse Forever

  • Any completed wire submission can be saved as a reusable template — amount, currency, beneficiary, documentation type, and purpose all pre-populated on reuse
  • Templates are created automatically when Save as Template is selected at submission — no separate setup step required
  • Clients managing recurring supplier payments, payroll wires, or regular FX transfers save significant re-entry time per transaction
  • Templates are account-scoped — available only to the account that created them; RBAC controls who can create, edit, or delete templates
  • Selecting a template pre-fills the wire form; client reviews, attaches fresh documentation, and submits — template does not bypass the documentation requirement
Internal Transfers

Between Own Accounts — Including Cross-Currency

  • Clients can transfer funds between their own accounts on the same platform — e.g. from a USD account to a GBP account without leaving MITB
  • Cross-currency internal transfers apply the platform's FX rate at execution — client sees the indicative rate before confirming
  • Used for fee and commission settlement between parent company and agent sub-accounts — the platform can automatically route fee charges as internal transfers
  • Internal transfers between two MITB accounts bypass the external wire rail — faster settlement, no correspondent bank delay
  • All internal transfers carry the same documentation, audit, and notification requirements as external wires — no reduced compliance obligation for same-platform movements
  • Submitted By and From/To accounts both recorded — internal transfers are fully attributable in the ledger
Export & Import

Excel, PDF, and MT940 — Full Data Portability

  • Transaction export — any filtered transaction list downloadable as Excel (.xlsx) directly from the Admin Portal or User Portal Download button
  • Account Statement export — monthly statements available as PDF (Aspose.PDF — print-ready, professionally formatted) and MT940 (bank statement format for accounting system import)
  • Company portfolio export — All Companies dashboard exportable as Summary report (one row per company) or Detail report (all transactions expanded) — both in Excel
  • Import — bulk payment file import for batch wire initiation; CSV/structured file upload maps to the wire submission schema
  • All exports retain exact figures — no rounding in tabular data; narrative summaries use rounded language per compliance convention
  • Export actions are audit-logged — who downloaded what data and when is fully recorded
Account Suspension & Reactivation

Immediate Access Control — Any Reason, Any Time

  • Admin can suspend any company or agent account instantly — wire access is revoked immediately; in-flight wires are halted and queued for review
  • Suspension triggers: fraud detection, failed KYC review, compliance flag, AML escalation, overdue documentation, or manual admin decision
  • Suspended account users can still log in to view their statement and transaction history — they cannot submit new wires or transfers
  • Reactivation follows a formal admin review — admin logs the resolution reason before access is restored; reactivation event is audit-logged with reviewer and timestamp
  • Suspension and reactivation events trigger dual-channel notification — account holder is informed via email and SMS with reason (where disclosure is appropriate)
  • Agent sub-accounts can be suspended independently without affecting the parent company or sibling agents
Escrow Agreement Attestation

Legal Acceptance on Every Wire

  • Every wire submission requires the client to accept the Reserve Trust Escrow Agreement — a checkbox attestation is presented on the wire confirmation step before submission
  • The agreement cannot be bypassed — form submission is blocked if the attestation checkbox is unchecked; enforced at both client-side (Angular validation) and server-side (API guard)
  • Attestation is recorded against the transaction record — timestamp, user, and agreement version captured at the point of acceptance
  • Ensures every wire on the platform carries an explicit client acknowledgment of the Reserve Trust custodial and escrow terms — reducing post-transfer disputes and strengthening regulatory defensibility
  • Agreement text is versioned — if Reserve Trust updates terms, clients are presented with the new version and must re-attest before their next wire
Transfer Lifecycle

A defined state machine — enforced by the system, not policy

Every transfer moves through a fixed sequence. No step can be skipped. Every transition is logged with actor, timestamp, and reason.

1
Draft
Client creates transfer request
2
Docs Attached
Invoices & supporting files uploaded
3
In Review
Sanction scan + document review
4
Approved
Admin approves; rejection notifies client
5
MT103 Generated

KYC Onboarding

Strict by design. Guided by experience.

Clients work through a structured multi-step application. No wire access is enabled until the onboarding is fully reviewed and approved by the admin team — a hard system control, not a policy document.

Audit & Compliance

Full audit tracking — every action, every actor, every timestamp

MITB maintains a comprehensive, tamper-evident audit trail across the entire platform. Every action taken by any user — client or admin — is logged with who did it, what changed, and when. This is not optional logging; it is built into every workflow.

Transaction Audit Trail

Every transfer, fully recorded

  • Every status transition logged: actor, timestamp, previous state, new state, and reason
  • All three transfer types — Domestic Wire, International Wire, ACH — share the same audit model
  • Document actions logged: upload, review, clearance, flagging — all attributed and timestamped
  • SanctionScanner results stored against each document and transaction record
  • MT103 and MT940 file generation events logged with file reference and transmission confirmation
  • Fee calculation recorded at execution time — amount, rate applied, hierarchy level used
User & Admin Activity Log

Every action, every person

  • All user actions — login, transfer initiation, payee creation, document upload, profile changes — recorded
  • All admin actions — company approval, transaction review, role changes, report access — attributed and logged
  • Notification delivery log: who was notified, via which channel, and at what time for every transaction event
  • Session activity tracked: login time, session duration, idle timeout, logout
  • Company activity timeline: full chronological history of every event on the account

Payment Rails & Platform Integrations

Multiple wire rails. Integrated partners. One interface.

MITB connects to multiple wire transfer execution networks, giving operators redundancy and flexibility across payment rails. Partner platforms are natively integrated, and the entire stack is deployable under any brand domain.

Wire Transfer Rails

PrimeTrust

  • Integrated for both wire transfer execution and digital asset management
  • Production-grade regulated custodian — live PROD bank code active
  • Handles domestic and international wire processing alongside crypto quote, send, and receive workflows
  • Wallet address generation, asset transaction tracking, and custody management
Wire Transfer Rails

Fincra

  • Additional wire transfer rail giving operators payment network redundancy
  • Supports international payment corridors — particularly strong for emerging market destinations
  • Integrated alongside PrimeTrust to provide routing flexibility based on destination and currency
  • Failure on one rail does not halt operations — alternate routing available
Partner Platforms

Savvy Integration

  • Savvy is a partner platform fully integrated with the MITB infrastructure
  • Runs on the same backend API and data layer — no separate stack
  • Deployed under its own brand domain and user interface (savvy.co)
  • Multi-domain architecture means Savvy clients operate with Savvy branding while sharing the full MITB feature set
Partner Platforms

Bancr Integration

  • Bancr is a second partner platform integrated into the MITB platform
  • Same multi-domain white-label architecture — separate brand, shared infrastructure
  • Clients on Bancr have access to the same wire transfer, KYC, document management, and compliance features
  • Independent domain, branding, and credential configuration with no cross-tenant data exposure
Mobile

Native mobile app — the full user portal in your pocket

MITB provides a native mobile application for corporate clients on the user side, giving them access to wire initiation, transfer tracking, and account management from any device — without losing any of the web portal's core functionality.

Mobile App — User Side

What the mobile app covers

  • Dashboard with live transfer status and account balance overview
  • Initiate domestic and international wire transfer requests
  • View transaction history and download account statements
  • Document upload and KYC document submission
  • Two-factor authentication: Google Authenticator TOTP and Twilio SMS OTP — both supported on mobile
  • Push notifications for transfer approvals, rejections, and wire execution confirmations
  • Profile and account settings management
Multi-Domain White-Label

One platform, many brands

  • The entire MITB platform — web portals, API, and mobile app — is deployable under any brand domain
  • MITB itself runs at mitb.co; partner deployments run at their own domains (e.g. savvy.co)
  • Per-deployment configuration: branding, logo, colour scheme, domain, email sender identity, and SMS sender ID
  • Each brand operates in full isolation — no cross-tenant visibility, independent user bases
  • Same backend infrastructure, compliance stack, and feature set across all deployments — one codebase to maintain
  • Ideal for white-label fintech operators, banking partners, and corporate sponsors wanting their own branded payments product
Technology

Built on a modern, enterprise-grade stack

Differentiators

Why MITB — not another payments platform

01

Reserve Trust Banking Infrastructure

Client funds held by a federally authorized trust company. FDIC-equivalent escrow protection — not an unregulated fintech.

02

SanctionScanner for Every Transaction & KYC

Not an internal checklist — a dedicated third-party compliance service screening every document, transfer, and KYC application against global sanctions lists and PEP databases.

03

MT103 + MT940 — Full SWIFT Coverage

MT103 drives payment instructions to correspondent banks. MT940 delivers bank statement format for reconciliation. Both generated from verified data with no manual re-entry.

04

Hierarchical Fee Engine

Fees auto-calculated at operator, company, and account level. Clients see the fee before submitting. Every fee is recorded against the transaction for audit.

05

Automated Monthly Statements

PDF and MT940 statements generated automatically for every account holder each month — no manual production, available on demand for the full account lifetime.

06

Bank Email Parsing — Zero Manual Monitoring

A dedicated service parses transaction notification emails from the bank automatically, reconciling confirmations against internal records without anyone reading an inbox.

07

Contact-Level KYC Precision

Documents linked to specific individuals — each beneficial owner, compliance officer, and controller has their own auditable KYC package.

08

Hard Compliance Controls

Onboarding gates, SanctionScanner clearance, approval queues, and SWIFT file generation are all system-enforced. No step can be bypassed.

Dual Wire Rails — PrimeTrust + Fincra

Two independent wire transfer execution networks. If one rail has issues, the other routes the payment. Coverage across mainstream and emerging market corridors.

10

Native Mobile App

The full user portal — wire initiation, transfer tracking, document upload, 2FA, account management — available as a native mobile app. Clients are not tied to a desktop browser.

11

Multi-Domain White-Label Architecture

Deploy the entire MITB stack under any brand — domain, logo, colours, email identity. Savvy and Bancr already run this way. One codebase, fully tenant-isolated, infinitely extensible.

12

US$ Direct Accounts — Funds at the Fed

Named US Dollar accounts with funds held directly at the Federal Reserve via Reserve Trust. Not a fintech wallet — real bank accounts with Fed-level backing.

13

Euro/GBP SEPA IBANs

Named Euro and GBP IBANs via financial institution partners — covering European payment corridors alongside USD rails. One platform, multiple currency accounts.

14

Bulk Payments & Rich APIs

High-volume batch payments managed natively — each payment in a batch passes through the same compliance and audit controls. Full API surface for deep integration by partners and operators.

Who It's For

Built for regulated, enterprise-grade operations

Money Service Businesses
Licensed MSBs requiring compliant wire infrastructure, KYC workflows, document fraud detection, MT103 generation, and audit-ready reporting — without building it from scratch.

Corporate Treasury Teams
Enterprises managing cross-border supplier payments, multi-currency accounts, and digital asset treasury — with real-time status visibility on every wire.
Neo-Banks
Digital-first institutions expanding into wire transfer and cryptocurrency services backed by Reserve Trust's federally authorized banking infrastructure.
Payment Facilitators
Platforms aggregating payment volume that need robust back-office wire processing, document management, and compliance controls across a large client portfolio.
